Cool thing was, I noticed that the interview before it on the tape was the one I did the previous month with Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers, who were touring behind their new Shades of Two Worlds album.
At the time I thought the ABB were officially a six-piece, but as the interview wound down Dickey made sure to ask that I mention the group’s newest member, “a piece of dynamite” named Marc Quiñones. That was a cool gesture, I thought.
