TUESDAY: Symphony of Terror at the Orpheum Theatre sees the Vancouver Symphony in a Halloween concert that features horror-film composer Harry Manfredini performing his music from Friday the 13th.

TUESDAY: gonzo stuntman Steve-O of Jackass fame performs at New Westminster’s Massey Theatre as part of his XXX-rated Canada Bucket List Tour.
WEDNESDAY: American instrumental prog-metal band Animals as Leaders plays the Commodore Ballroom, with guests Car Bomb and Alluvial.
WEDNESDAY: Timbre Concerts presents Australian indie-rock band Spacey Jane at the Rickshaw Theatre, with guest Joe P. SOLD OUT.
Sid the Kid’s at Rogers Arena
FRIDAY: the Vancouver Canucks take on Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins in National Hockey League action at Rogers Arena.
FRIDAY: screening at the Cinematheque of Canadian writer-director David Cronenberg’s 1977 body-horror flick Rabid, starring porn star Marilyn Chambers.
FRIDAY: screening at the Rio Theatre of the extended director’s cut of director William Friedkin’s supernatural horror classic, The Exorcist.
