After Hours screens at the Rio

FRIDAY: late-night Catherine O’Hara tribute screening at the Rio Theatre of director Martin Scorsese’s Kafkaesque 1985 black comedy After Hours, about a lonely New York City word processor who has the worst night of his life while he’s just trying to go out on a date.

FRIDAY: the Vancouver Warriors take on the Toronto Rock in National Lacrosse League action at Rogers Arena.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY: bluesy Nashville soul-rock duo Sons of Legion performs two nights on its Soul to SØL Tour, Friday at the Hollywood Theatre and Saturday at the Rickshaw Theatre.
