Vancouver International Jazz Festival: annual jazz fest features performances by Isaiah Collier, Qalandar, Amina Claudine Myers, the Brad Turner Quartet, and the Jodi Proznick Quartet. To July 5 at various Vancouver venues.

Black Wizard: Vancouver sludge-metal band, with guests Ever Age, Franklin. and Black Lung. July 3 at the Rickshaw Theatre.

Khatsahlano Street Party: Annual street festival featuring musical performances by dozens of local bands and artists, including Emmett Jerome, Rich Hope, Brass Camel, Don Alder, Billy and the Parole Models64 Funnycars, and Desirée Dawson. July 11 on 4th Avenue.

Marcus King Band plays the Orpheum

Marcus King Band: Blues-rock band from South Carolina, with guest Penelope Road. July 13 at the Orpheum Theatre.
