I did the second of my five interviews with Chicago blues legend Buddy Guy back in March of 1993.
At the time Buddy was promoting his new album Feels Like Rain, so I called him up at a tour stop in Buffalo, New York.
After clarifying that we were both definitely doin’ alright, I asked him about being on the road, which led to him mentioning the famously well-traveled B.B. King. That got me to asking Guy about the song he’d recently recorded for King’s upcoming album, Blues Summit, which would win a Grammy the following year for Best Traditional Blues Album.
