When we got to the beach we’d take the speakers from that white ’60s Valiant behind us, stick ’em on the roof of the car, and blast Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen” as loud as we wanted to.
There was plenty of cowbell to go around back then.
One guy became a doctor, one a lawyer, one a land inspector, and one a high school principal. The guy taking the photo became an engineer.
Guess which goofy bonerack became the rock journalist.

Accident Productions ?!! Man,the guy who ran Accident was an old family friend who was instrumental in getting me the opportunity to do some backstage work back in the 70’s.Deep Purple and Curved Air (along with malo.carlos santanas’ brothers band),Chicago,Pink Floyd (dark side of the moon tour at the pne gardens).As well as some freebie shows like Alice Cooper,Rory Gallagher.So,how did I miss this one?
