The ’70s

photo.JPG

The pride of Chilliwack Senior High’s class of ’75, enroute to Penticton for the annual summer piss-up and puke-off.

When we got to the beach we’d take the speakers from that white ’60s Valiant behind us, stick ’em on the roof of the car, and blast Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen” as loud as we wanted to.

There was plenty of cowbell to go around back then.

One guy became a doctor, one a lawyer, one a land inspector, and one a high school principal. The guy taking the photo became an engineer.

Guess which goofy bonerack became the rock journalist.
