TUESDAY: Little Rock, Arkansas hard-rock band Evanescence, featuring vocalist Amy Lee, plays Rogers Arena, with guests Halestorm and the Warning.
TUESDAY: Oakland, California indie garage-punk quartet Shannon and the Clams plays the Rickshaw Theatre, with guests the Deslondes.
TUESDAY TO FRIDAY: the Arts Club Theatre presents performances at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage until October 27 of Jersey Boys, a musical that tells the story of New Jersey hitmakers Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Cirque du Soleil is at Concord Pacific Place
WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY: Cirque du Soleil‘s Echo, running to January 5 at Concord Pacific Place, combines poetry, stagecraft, acrobatics, and technology to explores the delicate balance between people, animals, and the world.
THURSDAY: celebration of life at the Kingsway Legion for local concert photographer and author Dee Lippingwell, who shot over 3,000 shows during her 50-year career.
THURSDAY: Japanese “Krautrock” quartet Minami Deutsch performs material from latest album Fortune Goodies at the Pearl, with guests Mong Tong.

Streetheart plays Rock Beats Cancer
THURSDAY: Rocks Beats Cancer at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver is a fundraiser for the BC Cancer Foundation in memory of local drummer Rocket Norton that features performances by Loverboy, Chilliwack, Powder Blues Band, Lee Aaron, Barney Bentall, Trooper’s Hot Shots, Streetheart, and the Seeds of Time.
THURSDAY: Mashed Poetics at LanaLou’s features spoken-word renditions of all the songs from Ozzy’s Osbourne’s Blizzard of Oz album, featuring performances by Steve Miller, Sonya Littlejohn, Hari Alluri, SJ Valiquette, Sean McGarragle, RC Weslowski, Manik 1derful, Naomi Pommier, and Kiran the Muse.
THURSDAY TO FRIDAY: Fright Nights features eight haunted houses, wandering scare artists, over 15 midway rides, and spooky foods, running until October 31 on select nights at the PNE Grounds (Hastings and Windermere).

FRIDAY: Texas pop-punk band Bowling for Soup plays the Rickshaw Theatre, with guests Adam and the Metal Hawks and Makeout. SOLD OUT.
