That time Jon Auer of the Posies told me which Beatles albums were mindblowing to him

Back in July of 1996 Jon Auer of the Posies called me up from a tour stop in Sydney, Australia to talk about the Seattle power-pop band’s new album, Amazing Disgrace.

At one point in the conversation I mentioned how the L.A. Times had compared one of the Posies’ previous albums to Abbey Road, which led Auer to profess his love of certain Beatles albums and songs.
