FRIDAY: Métis Canadian alt-country singer-songwriter Kyle McKearney plays the Fox Cabaret, with guest Antonio Larosa.

FRIDAY: the Sin City Fetish Ball at the Hollywood Theatre features drag, burlesque, and fetish stage shows, kinky carnival games, BDSM play areas, and fetish dress code.

FRIDAY: Toronto punk quartet the Anti-Queens and all-female Arizona punk trio the Venomous Pinks play LanaLou’s, with local guests the Get-Arounds.

Jack de Keyzer plays Blue Frog Studios

FRIDAY: Canadian blues-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist Jack de Keyzer performs with his band at White Rock’s Blue Frog Studios. Here’s my interview with Jack de Keyzer from 1991.

SUNDAY: the Vancouver Warriors take on the Buffalo Bandits in a National Lacrosse League semi-final playoff game at Rogers Arena.
