I interviewed blues-guitar great Robert Cray for the third time back in July of 2000, when he was heading to Vancouver to perform at the first annual Deer Lake Blues Festival.
The brunt of our conversation was spent covering the many amazing guitarists he’s performed with over the years, including Stevie Ray Vaughan, whose final concert at Wisconsin’s Alpine Valley Resort also featured Cray, along with Stevie’s brother Jimmie Vaughan, Buddy Guy, and headliner Eric Clapton.
