I interviewed California porn star-turned-blues rocker Candye Kane back in February of 2003, when she was headed to Vancouver for a gig at the Yale pub.
She was touring behind her latest album, Whole Lotta Love, named after the Willie Dixon song famously covered by Led Zeppelin.
“Just being a big woman, and celebrating my size, I am a whole lotta love,” she pointed out, leaving me to ask whether the sensationalist facts of her career were given more attention than the music itself.
