Terminal Station plays Blue Frog

FRIDAY TO SUNDAY: A Wonderheads Christmas Carol, running until December 14 at the Arts Club’s BMO Theatre Centre, is a wordless reimagining of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, featuring 10-foot tall puppets, incredible masks, and an original score.

SATURDAY: Keithmas XVI, the 16th annual Keith Richards birthday bash and Vancouver Food Bank fundraiser, features performances by Rich Hope, La Chinga, the Pack A.D., Honeybear, Amy van Keeken & the Mind Readers, Good As Gone, Terminal Station, Peregrine Falls (featuring Kenton Loewen & Gord Grdina), and Mary Ancheta & Friends at the Rickshaw Theatre. SOLD OUT.
SATURDAY: the 11th annual Big Elf Run in Stanley Park is a fundraiser for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, featuring five-, 10-, and 15-km runs and walks, a one-km walk for kids, a DJ, prizes, and vendors.
SUNDAY: Outside Voices in Stereo, arranged and directed by David Beckingham of Hey Ocean!, features two choirs and a 150-voice finale at the Rio Theatre.

Peach Pit plays the Commodore
SUNDAY: the 18th annual Kingfisher Bluez Christmas Party at the Commodore Ballroom features two performances by local indie-pop quartet Peach Pit, with guests Kill Your Darlings (all-ages matinee) and Flat Earth (evening show).
