FRIDAY: Vancouver pop-rock legends Odds, featuring singer-guitarist Craig Northey, play two shows at White Rock’s Blue Frog StudiosSOLD OUT. Here’s my interview with Craig Northey from 1997.

SATURDAY: Seattle pop-rockers the Young Fresh Fellows play the American, with local guests the Tranzmitors and Like Whatever.

SATURDAY: the Vancouver Whitecaps take on New York City FC in Major League Soccer action at BC Place.

SATURDAY: at the pot-fueled Gateway Show, standup comics tell jokes at the Rickshaw Theatre and then get super-high and try to tell more.

Robert Connely Farr plays VIFF Centre

SUNDAY: Vancouver-based, Mississippi-raised bluesman Robert Connely Farr performs a one-hour set at VIFF Centre, followed by a screening of director Daniel Cross’s 2016 feature documentary I Am the Blues. Here’s my interview with Robert Connely Farr from 2021.
