Anti-fragile Bachman Turner puts it into overdrive this spring

Unknown

Less than two weeks ago, Universal Music Canada announced that it would be releasing a remastered 40th-anniversary edition of Bachman-Turner Overdrive’s best-selling album, Not Fragile, on March 18.

That was great news for anyone who was a teenager back in ’74, when BTO was battling it out with the likes of Thin LizzyFoghat, and Blue Oyster Cult for time on the turntables of rock-crazed kids worldwide.

Now comes word that Bachman Turner—the band led by former BTO guitarist-vocalist Randy Bachman and bassist-vocalist Fred Turner, who aren’t allowed to use “Overdrive” for legal reasons—will play Hard Rock Casino Vancouver on May 30.

That’s doubly rockin’, especially since, according to the all-knowing Wikipedia: “Randy has stated that they are considering playing the Not Fragile album end-to-end at several of their live shows during their 2014 tour. He said it is something a lot of their fans have been asking for, and the time feels right.”

So we might get to hear “Second Hand” after all. I can’t wait to watch Bachman talk about it. Woo!
