Todd Kerns, recently declared to be “the Most Rockin’ Canadian Bassist of the 21st Century“, performed with his band SMK&C (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators) on the Howard Stern Show yesterday.
That’s a long way from his birthplace of Estevan, Saskatchewan.
But anybody who’s been following the lanky rocker’s career with wicked Vancouver bands like Age of Electric and Static in Stereo–or his impressive solo outings–knew that he was destined for the big time.
What we didn’t know was that he wasn’t even all that lanky–at least in comparison to the King of All Media himself.
We’d write a bunch more about how great Kerns is, but it would distract us from listening to the new SMK&C CD, World on Fire, recently declared to be “the Most Rockin’ Rock Album of the 21st Century”.
(I just declared that two seconds ago.)
God damn is it good!
