When I interviewed Robert Plant back in 1993 he was in the midst of a world tour supporting his new album Fate of Nations.
I asked the 45-year-old rock god whether it had gotten easier or harder to keep up the pace of touring over the years, and he said it was easier–because “no drugs” and “no tobacco”.
And when I asked him “no beer?” he said something that was pretty rock ‘n’ roll.
