Gather round kiddies, it’s time to listen to another album from your favourite cartoon characters, Kiss.

Hey kiddies, where are you going? I’ve got Kiss Army patches and splotches of real Gene Simmons blood!

What? The music’s lousy? Who cares about the music? We’ve got makeup and poses and zillions of dollars worth of lights and amps. Just shut up and plug your ears and stick your tongues out at Uncle Gene.

See, isn’t that fun?

Vancouver songwriters Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance co-write two of the tunes on Creatures of the Night, “Rock and Roll Hell” and “War Machine”. But don’t hold it against them. They’ve got to make a living too you know.

This is the worst Kiss record I’ve ever heard. Usually they have a couple of songs that at least deserve repeated listening, but not on this one.
