MONDAY TO FRIDAY: Fright Nights: Resurrection is a Halloween-themed experience at Playland with seven haunted houses, over 15 rides, creepy décor, roaming monsters, and live performances.

TUESDAY: Timbre Concerts presents the King Khan & BBQ Show at the Rickshaw Theatre, with guests Miranda and the Beat.

TUESDAY: Timbre Concerts presents Brooklyn-based multi-genre band Lake Street Dive at the Orpheum Theatre., with guests Devon Gilfillian.

THURSDAY: the East Van Django Jazz All-Stars play retro jazz music with a European flair at Osita on Commercial.

THURSDAY: the Chris Fraser Trio–featuring guitarist Fraser, bassist Conrad Good, and drummer Bernie Arai–plays Frankie’s Jazz.

FRIDAY: Kenny vs. Spenny at the Harbour Event & Convention Centre sees lifelong frenemies Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice using personal attacks and lifelong grievances to create cringe-inducing comedy.

FRIDAY: soul, jazz, and R&B singer Krystle Dos Santos performs with her five-piece band at the ACT Arts Centre in Maple Ridge.

FRIDAY: violinist Leila Josefowicz joins conductor Otto Tausk and the Vancouver Symphony in a performance of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade at the Orpheum Theatre.
