This year’s Keithmas Food Bank benefit at the Rickshaw will rock your freakin’ socks off

Anyone who knows me knows that I never skip a chance to post the photo I have of me touching skull rings with Keith Richards.

The latest opportunity came with today’s announcement of the lineup for this year’s Keithmas concert.

The annual Vancouver Food Bank benefit, which takes place at the Rickshaw the day before Keef’s birthday–on Saturday, December 17–includes a stellar batch of local rock acts, including Rich Hope, La Chinga, Just a Season, Bend Sinister, and the Ramores.

Also set to boogie Stones-style are Vicious Cycles, Chance Lovett, Rempel & the Rousers, Barney Bentall, and Spank Williams.

Master of ceremonies is author and historian Aaron Chapman, who’s been known to rock out himself when he isn’t writing bestselling books about Vancouver nightspots and vice cops and gangs.

Tickets are only $25 (plus service fees), with all proceeds to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, so to hell with price-gouging Ticketmaster/Live Nation (and Taylor Swift too). Scoop ’em up right here while you still can.
