Megadeth brings its ear-busting metal noise to the Fraser Valley on April 28

By Steve Newton

Fraser Valley residents with a hankering for heavy metal have something to look forward to.

Megadeth has announced that it will play the Abbotsford Centre on April 28, which–thanks to the metal gods–is a Friday night.

The band–which features the current lineup of founding guitarist-vocalist Dave Mustaine, guitarist Kiko Loureiro, bassist James LoMenzo, and drummer Dirk Verbeurenwill be showcasing tunes from its cutesy-titled 2022 album, The Sick, the Dying…and the Dead!

Opening the show will be Bullet for My Valentine and ONI.

Here’s hoping they’ll do their best song, “Symphony of Destruction”:

Presale is on now and from the looks of things ticket prices for regular seats range from $67 to $297 (plus all those pesky Ticketmaster service fees).
