Today the Tragically Hip released a deluxe vinyl box set version of its first full-length album, 1989’s Up to Here.
That’s the one with “Blow at High Dough” and “New Orleans is Sinking”, as if you didn’t know.
As well as a 2024 remastering of Up to Here, the package includes five previously unreleased songs that didn’t make it on the original LP, plus 1988 demo versions of beloved Hip tracks like “Boots or Hearts”, “Everytime You Go”, and “I’ll Believe In You (Or I’ll Be Leaving You Tonight)”.
Your $180 (CDN) for the four-disc vinyl edition will also get you a recording of Live at Misty Moon, the special filmed for MuchMusic in 1990 from the Misty Moon Cabaret in Halifax, plus an accompanying one-hour concert film on Blu-ray.
The package will also be available in a three-disc CD format for the ’90s nerds, and you can order both versions here.
