That time Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson told me about playing with Jimmy Page

Back in August of 2001 I did my second interview with Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson, whose band was touring behind its sixth studio album, Lions.

The previous year the group had released a live double-album featuring Jimmy Page, Live at the Greek: Excess All Areas, which captured Page and the Crowes performing Led Zeppelin classics and blues standards at L.A.’s Greek Theatre.

So at one point in the conversation I asked Rich if playing with the Zepman was something he’d been dreaming about for a long time.
