Last year I checked out a few pretty awesome tribute concerts, including Todd Kerns’s Toque at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, Scott Smith & the Midnight Riders at Blue Frog Studios, and Coast to Coast at the Surrey Arts Centre.
The latter band specializes in covering songs by UFO, the Scorpions, and the Michael Schenker Group, and two days ago Coast to Coast released a video of UFO’s “Doctor Doctor”, a song German guitar hero Schenker cowrote when he was 18 for the 1974 Phenomenon LP.
Seeing as it’s Schenker’s 70th birthday today, I reckon I should share the clip here:
