I interviewed Buckcherry guitarist Keith Nelson back in May of 1999, one month after his Anaheim hard-rock band released its self-titled debut album, which went gold in the U.S. and Canada.
At one point in the conversation I asked Nelson why there was a thank you from him in the album credits to Rick Richards, the underrated guitarist from the Georgia Satellites.
He had his reasons.
