I interviewed Canadian rock legend Randy Bachman for the second time in January of 2009, when he was preparing to play a show at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom with a new four-piece band composed of veterans of the local top-40 club scene.
At one point in the conversation I asked him if, looking back, there was anything he would have done differently with his previous group, Bachman-Turner Overdrive–apart from releasing the lacklustre Four Wheel Drive album a scant nine months after BTO’s incredible, chart-topping Not Fragile LP.
