TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY: screening at the Rio Theatre of Italian horror master Dario Argento’s new film, Dark Glasses. In Italian with English subtitles.

WEDNESDAY: Timbre Concerts presents L.A.-based Grateful Dead cover band Grateful Shred at the Rickshaw Theatre.

THURSDAY: veteran Canadian blues act the Legendary Downchild Blues Band, featuring guitarist Donnie Walsh, performs at Mission’s Clarke Theatre.

FRIDAY: British pop legend Elton John performs at Rogers Arena as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Final Tour.

FRIDAY: American comedian Chris Rock performs standup at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre as part of his Ego Death World Tour 2022.

FRIDAY: Steve Dawson leads a re-imagining of the Grateful Dead’s iconic album American Beauty at the Kay Meek Arts Centre in West Van.
