FRIDAY: Canadian folk and acoustic blues singer-songwriter Little Miss Higgins plays Burnaby’s Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.

FRIDAY: Vancouver blues trio the Grand Koolios–composed of guitarist-vocalist Tim Hearsey, bassist Rob Becker, and drummer Chris Nordquist–plays Guilt and Co. That Hearsey guy can play geetar!

FRIDAY: Canadian rock legend Art Bergmann performs at the Rickshaw Theatre in an event that includes the launch of his Jason Schneider-penned biography The Longest Suicide, with a Q&A session moderated by local musician, author, and historian Aaron Chapman. Here’s my interview with Art from back in 1990.
