That time Coheed and Cambria’s Travis Stever told me about his favourite guitarists and guitar albums
By Steve Newton
Back in May of 2008 I interviewed Coheed and Cambria guitarist Travis Stever when the New York prog-rock band was touring behind its fourth album, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow.
At one point in the conversation I mentioned how the group’s previous LP, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness, had been named one of the greatest guitar albums of all time by Guitar World magazine.
That led me to ask Stever what he thinks is the greatest guitar album of all time, and who his personal favourite players were.
