Back in August of 1995 I did the first of my four interviews with Jim Heath, singer-guitarist and main songwriter for the Texas psychobilly trio Reverend Horton Heat.
At one point in in the conversation I asked Heath about the AC/DC t-shirt he’s pictured wearing on the back cover of the band’s latest CD, Liquor in the Front. He’s wearing a silly hat and clutching a drink and it looks like he might be yelling “Back in Black!” or something.
(Interesting side note: the Reverend Horton Heat performed at Coachella the same day as AC/DC in 2015.)
Heath didn’t think it was a big deal that he was wearing an AC/DC t-shirt, but it turns out that he’s quite a fan.
Then again, who isn’t?
