That time I asked Christopher Thorn why he wanted to be in a band again after the death of Shannon Hoon

I interviewed Unified Theory lead guitarist Christopher Thorn in July of 2000, one month before the Seattle-based quartet released its self-titled debut album.

Thorn and Unified Theory bassist Brad Smith were former members of Blind Melon, which broke up following the overdose death of singer Shannon Hoon in 1995.

Thorn had been quoted as saying that after Hoon’s death he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be in a band again, so at one point in the conversation I asked him about that.
